It was so much fun bringing in the New Year last night on stage, singing with the Magnolia Jazz Band in Palo Alto. Wish you could have been there, but you were probably having fun wherever you were. Some more Jan. gigs are scheduled, but so far, they’re all private events just like last night. You’ll be the first to know if there’s a booking that’s open to the public. 2015 was an exciting year that culminated in a finished recording of me playing the piano and singing my heart out on 3 healing songs that I wrote. Now, I am looking forward to another happy, healthy, and successful year, and wishing you the same. And, thanks to Sara Glaser who has created this new website, I’m able to do my first post on the first day of 2016!

ByCynthiaWhoa! 2018. Seriously? Sometimes it feels like I’m being pole vaulted through time. There’s never enough of it. The older I get the more important it feels not to fritter any of it away. Technology and Myself

What Works for Me
ByCynthiaIt’s Thanksgiving time again, but every day I can get great joy from savoring all I appreciate. It’s kind of selfish really. I just do it to make myself feel happy. Here’s how I write my (almost) daily personal gratitude list: 1.Put a positive spin on everything that happened yesterday. 2.Give thanks for today so…
Loving Aspirations

As always, I’m deeply grateful for my loving partner of multiple decades, loving parents who live on in my heart, and so many loving friends and business relationships. This year I’m looking beyond personal relationships at the bigger picture. Yep, I’m thinking really BIG! Here goes: I aspire to love each moment. (That…

ByCynthiaWell, I’m up from under an avalanche of tax work for a breath of air. Whahoo-o-o! I’m done! It took about *?!*? (wo)man hrs. to dig my way out through the piles of papers and mounds of “bitty” faded receipts. But, I’ve lived to tell about it, and now the 5 page 2016 Summary is in the mail to…
