All the kids are back in school, and navigating the challenges of a new grade.  Scary?  Exciting?  Maybe kind of Fun?  Meanwhile: The last song (#14) for my album is written, and suddenly I’m thrown into the pre-production phase.  First it’s a big “Whoopee-e-e-e!”  Then reality strikes. This is certainly not my first album, but it’s my first all original one, and now it’s time to rehearse, memorize, make arrangements and charts, call in other musicians….”Holy Smokes!”  How did this happen?  Yep, it’s scary and exciting and really, really, really  fun.

I’m through planning photo shoots & studio time, and happy leaving my You Tube Channel as is, for now.  It’s time…

  • For My Mother

My mom gave me the gift of music. Some of my most cherished early memories include sitting side by side on the organ bench as she played and we sang together. She taught me beginning piano and basic singing technique, put a $50 piano in my bedroom, and set me loose! I was inspired by…
