It’s high time for a demo of my inspirational/Spiritual Songs.  I’m waiting with bated breath for a shipment of finished CDs from U.P.S.  It’s called Three Healing Songs written and performed by Cynthia Bythell, and Discmakers sent it out on the 27th of last month.  So, where is that nice guy in the big brown truck?  A bunch of people have asked for a copy, and still more will be surprised when they find out my plan is to give it to anybody who’s interested!  I just want to share my musical message with the world….. Want one?

Recently I got swept up in the state of the world.  It’s not like me.  I’m a kind of “head in the sand” person who doesn’t generally partake of the news.  For the sake of my amazing recovery from chronic depression, that’s the way it needs to be.  So anyway, since mortal reality reached out…

  • No Inoculation Needed

People said it looked like I was having fun, and that was so true.  For me, nothing is more fun than performing, and last Saturday night was no exception. I had a funtastic time singin’ and swingin’ at Café Leila in Berkeley.  The audience was super receptive, and seemed so happy that I wondered if…

  • Mom & Music

Mom was my first music teacher.  She was a brilliant goddess of love and beauty when I was little.  Some of my fondest memories are the hours we spent sitting side by side on the piano bench singing together as she played. Although she became embarrassing, unreasonable and very nearly stupid during my teen years, Mom eventually returned to her former self (except…
