Doesn’t it feel like we just went through a fast forward?  Next thing we know, we’ll all be singing Auld Lang Syne again!  Speaking of which, I hope your holidays were as festive as mine, but now what?  For me, it’s time to get my students ready for the Winter Share The Music Day where the kids will play songs from their lesson books for each other and their proud parents.  Meanwhile, I need to be picking out a challenging recital piece for each student to be mastered, memorized, and performed at he formal Annual Spring Recital.   In my spare time (haha), I’m getting some performance videos ready to go up on my website, and also looking forward to singing a couple of my inspirational originals at a benefit on Sat. Jan. 28, 7:30 pm, Home of Truth Spiritual Center, 1300 Grand St., Alameda.  Looks like 2016 is already fading in the rear view mirror……

It’s high time for a demo of my inspirational/Spiritual Songs.  I’m waiting with bated breath for a shipment of finished CDs from U.P.S.  It’s called Three Healing Songs written and performed by Cynthia Bythell, and Discmakers sent it out on the 27th of last month.  So, where is that nice guy in the big brown truck?  A bunch…

  • Dreaming Big

I’ve been hit with a sudden urge to audition for America’s Got Talent.  Apparently the desire to share my inspirational originals with the world at large is filling me with some serious chutzpah.  So, it’s time to sit at the piano for hours, somehow cutting my precious jewels down to 90 second finely facetted gems…
